Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska offers adoption
services to individuals and couples in Nebraska.
Education about adoption issues and preparation for parenting adopted children
are fundamental to all adoption opportunities at Lutheran Family
Services of Nebraska.

Available Services:
- Infant Adoption
- Identified Adoption - For birth parents and adoptive families who have established
an agreement for placement independently of Lutheran Family Services
of Nebraska In such instances, we facilitate the relinquishment
and placement of the child. We also provide requested counseling
to the birth parents and the adoptive family.
- Contractual Homestudies - Under Nebraska law, licensed child-placing agencies must complete
a study of prospective adoptive homes prior to a child's placement.
Homestudies are available to families pursuing adoption independently
of Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska.
- International Adoption
- Homestudies for International Adoption - We provide the required homestudy report as well as post-placement
supervision for families working with an international adoption agency.
