Vets4Vets Support Group
Vets4Vets is a non-partisan organization dedicated to helping Iraq and Afghanistan-era
veterans heal from the psychological injuries of war through the use of peer support.
Peer support with fellow veterans furthers the healing process by providing vets
a place to express what is "really" going on in their lives.
All meetings will be held at the community colleges in the area. The meeting
days, times and locations are as follows:
Columbus Community College – Wednesdays from 3pm to 4pm
Grand Island Community College – Thursdays from 5pm to 6pm
Hastings Central Community College – Tuesdays from 4pm to 5pm

- Children ages 8-18 who have been sexually abused AND their siblings (regardless if their siblings were abused or not)
- Support groups held at LFS’s downtown location
- Every Wednesday from 5:45-7:15pm; groups run in cycles and there are 4 cycles per year
- There is no cost to join group
- Please contact Lisa Pohl, M.A., PLMHP at 978-5635 for more information and to set up the pre-group in-take

What: LFS Peer to Peer Support Group for At Ease
When: 1pm
Where: 730 Fort Crook Road North, Bellevue NE 68005
Cost: There is no cost for these peer support meetings.
The meeting will run for one hour and will be delivered in the Vets4Vets format of listening turns. All active duty and vets of Iraq and Afghanistan are invited to participate.
This is an opportunity for veterans of the current wars to reconnect with others who have been there and support each other with camaraderie, respect and confidentiality.

- Adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, protective parents, and sexual offenders
- Support groups held at an undisclosed location
- Every Tuesday from 7-9pm; groups run in cycles and there are 4 cycles per year
- Cost is $12 per cycle
