Substance Abuse
Substance abuse is accountable for a host of critical problems across all segments of the population. The growing and compelling evidence of the devastating personal and social damage it inflicts on all who are touched by it cannot be ignored.
Lutheran Family Services believes chemical dependency is a treatable disease and offers outpatient assessments and referrals, intensive outpatient treatment and family support education. Through these programs, the abuser learns that their issues are not unique and can address the growing dysfunction; family and loved ones develop coping skills to get them through the process of building a healthier lifestyle.
