The Legacy of Hope Society

When you join LFS' Legacy of Hope Society, your gift will reach individuals and families in need
of help and hope - families with gambling problems, teenage girls facing unplanned pregnancies,
depressed single mothers, little boys who have been abused and removed from their homes, and many others.
Additionally, the Legacy of Hope Society provides Lutheran Family Services the opportunity to
recognize and express our appreciation to those who have planned legacy gifts for LFS as well as
the opportunity to encourage others to share their faith through bequests.
Types of deferred gifts:
- Bequests through your will
- Individual Retirement Account (IRA) or other retirement instrument
- Certificates of Deposit (CD's), mutual funds, stocks, bonds, and other assignable contracts or agreements
- Life insurance policies
- Gift annuities
- Charitable remainder unitrusts or annuity trusts
- Life estate arrangements
Your financial advisor or a representative from Lutheran Family Services can assist you with
any of these deferred gifts.

- Your name will be inscribed on our Society Donor Recognition board at our corporate office in Omaha
