Donate In-Kind Items to Programs

Can you donate items to help those helped by LFS provide for their children or begin a new life in this country? Listed below are items needed by LFS clients.

1. Lutheran Refugee Services sets up approximately 1 household per week. Many items are needed to complete a household and several of these items are donated to us on a regular basis, however, there are a number of items that are in short supply. We appreciate your willingness to donate these items and help us turn a house into a home! If you can donate any of these items, please contact Jeff Vandenberg at (402) 346-6100.

2. The Building Families Boutique in Council Bluffs occasionally holds baby showers for client. Below is a list of items typically needed. If you can donate any of these items, please call (402) 661-7100.

• Diapers size 4 and 5
• Baby wipes
• Baby care items (shampoo, lotion, body wash)
• Outfits newborn to 5T
• Shoes for children ages 1 to 5
• Training pants and underwear size 2 T to 5T
• Pajamas newborn to 5T
• Children's books
• Quilts
• Breast pumps
• Convertible car seats
• Baby bathtubs
• Strollers
