Shining the Light on Foster Child Adoption

10 a.m. - 2 p.m., with a "Shining the Light" celebration at 7 p.m.

Please join us for the 5th annual Omaha's Great Pumpkin, a free family festival featuring pumpkin carving, a pumpkin pie eating contest, music & entertainment for people of all ages, local artist carvers, and adoption & foster care information booths.
From 2-5pm, the Millard South DECA group is hosting afternoon activities for children & families. Trick-or-treating is encouraged at Village Pointe shops!
At 7 p.m., please join us at the Village Pointe roundabout where the Omaha's Great Pumpkin tree comes to life as 913 pumpkins are lit, representing the children in Nebraska's foster care system who are legally available to be adopted. With each unique pumpkin carving, the "tree" becomes a stunning piece of art on display through October 31st.
Family-friendly costumes encouraged!!
