Omaha Royals Celebrates the Community Contributions of LFS
Lutheran Family Services is Omaha Royals Community Organization of the Day on Thursday, July 20, 2006
Omaha, Nebraska –- Join with Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska (LFS) at the Thursday, July 20th Omaha Royals Baseball Game. LFS is the Omaha Royals Community Organization of the Day at the Thursday, July 20th, 12:05 p.m. game—Omaha Royals vs. Nashville Sounds.
The first pitch will be thrown by Tyler, a young man in the LFS Foster Care program.
Ruth Henrichs, LFS President & CEO will talk to fans during pre-game activities, and spend a half an inning on the radio with Royals broadcasters, Mark Nasser and Kevin McNabb. She will be addressing the needs of Nebraska children in out-of-home placements and calling upon families in our community to consider opening their homes to foster children like Tyler.
Gates open at 11:00 a.m. Tickets available at the Omaha Royals ticket window. Visit the LFS booth located inside the plaza area to pick up a free “Embrace Family” bracelet, showing support of LFS and family values.
