Lutheran Family Services Holds Open House at Papillion Office

Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska (LFS) is hosting an open house Friday, February 16, 3-5 p.m. at its Papillion office, which recently moved into Suite 215 in the Midlands Medical Center, 401 E. Gold Coast Road. The public is welcome to attend for tours and refreshments.

The LFS Papillion office offers counseling and addiction services. The office is open Monday - Thursday and the office phone is (402) 592-0639. Program supervisor Denny Crain says, “This new location is allowing us to expand our mental health services in the community. We recently hired two new full-time therapists and will soon be offering anger management classes for adults and adolescents.”

Lutheran Family Services is a statewide agency serving over 35,000 children and adults through 30 service locations in Nebraska, Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Wichita, Kansas. Programs include counseling and addiction services, adoption, foster care, sexual abuse services, refugee resettlement, immigration legal services, community re-entry for ex-offenders, family support services and disaster relief teams.
