New Board Members for Lutheran
Family Services

21, 2010 (Omaha, Nebraska) – Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska
welcomes two new members to its Board of Directors.
Peter Zandbergen is Executive Vice President at Union Bank & Trust
Company. In this role, Zandbergen assists in developing an overall strategic
direction in the Omaha market and has particular focus on client relationship
management, business banking, commercial lending, private banking and wealth
management services.
Zandbergen’s 30-year career also includes fifteen years with First National
Bank in Omaha where he created the Private Banking Group.
Zandbergen has long been very actively involved in the civic community having
served on the Boards or Executive Committees of the Omaha Sports Commission,
Non-Profit Association of the Midlands, National Rowing Foundation, Downtown
Rotary and KANEKO Creative Center. He is a graduate of the University
of Nebraska – Lincoln
Kenny Rocker is an Assistant Vice President with Union Pacific.
He holds a leadership position within the Automotive Group of Marketing and
Sales. In this role, he helps customers and manufacturers improve their
supply chain competitiveness world-wide. Rocker has held positions of
increasing responsibility since he joined UP in 1994.
Rocker earned this Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Tuskegee University
in August 1994. He served on the Young Art Patron board at Joslyn Art
Museum and is currently active in recruiting for Union Pacific at Tuskegee
University. Rocker also leads a Multi-cultural network for parents of children
with Downs Syndrome and previously led Union Pacific’s Black Employee
Network.

Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska (LFS) is a faith-based, non-profit, multi-service human care organization with more than 30 locations. The organization impacts nearly 35,000 people annually through community-based programs in Children’s Services, Community Services, and Behavioral Health. The work of LFS is supported by caring members of our community whose contributions help make services available for those unable to pay. 87% of all donations go directly to client services.
