Fundraiser for Foster Children and Adoption
“Fandango℠” fundraiser supports search for permanent homes

logo for Adoption Links WorldwideFebruary 2, 2011 (Omaha, NE) – Foster children hoping for permanent homes will be the primary beneficiaries of the upcoming Fandango℠ fundraiser.  Over 800 Nebraska children are currently waiting.  Amy Scott and her three sons -- Graham, Griffin and Sidney -- are the honorary chairs of the Friday, February 25, 2011 event.

This year’s theme is “Hit a Home Run for Kids!” in celebration of Omaha’s exciting new baseball venues.  Attendees are encouraged to wear sporty casual or baseball attire.

“We are grateful for the support of the Omaha community in helping make this annual event a great success.  Fandango℠ continues to be a great evening that brings people together to support our mission of building families through adoption.  We are looking forward to another fun evening,” says Cheryl Murray, Development Officer.

Fandango℠ is organized by a committee made up of over 60 Guild members.  The event chairpersons this year are Cindy Hartmann and Julie Geschwender.
