Every family faces challenges. For some parents and children, the hurdles are too great to overcome alone, and the consequences are too serious to ignore.

On Friday November 3rd, friends and supporters of Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska (LFS) will “Rally for Kids” to support programs that help metro Omaha-Council Bluffs area children and families grow stronger. The final event of LFS’s 125th anniversary year will start at 6:00 p.m. at the Omaha Hilton Hotel at 10th & Cass Street.

  • John and Jan Christensen of Omaha and Drs. Bob and Martha Bruckner of Council Bluffs are honorary chairs of the event. Trev Alberts, University of Nebraska Omaha Vice Chancellor for Athletic Leadership and Management, will emcee the fun ”all sports casual” evening that includes games, silent and live auctions, a tailgate meal and more.

  • North Omaha and Pottawattamie County Centers for Healthy Families
