MEET: TyLynne Bauer –  Behavioral Health Administrator for Eastern and Greater Nebraska

TyLynne Bauer joined LFS in November 2017 as the new Regional Administrator for Behavioral Health for Eastern and Greater Nebraska. She believes strongly in education and will graduate in 2018 with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Kaplan/Purdue University. TyLynne is Board Certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center. She is a Certified Values Coach and is a certified Emergenics Associate.

She has worked tirelessly as a nurse for 28 years to serve those in need. She has spent nearly 20 of these years in executive management positions. Her nursing experience includes expertise in Acute and Trauma Care, Obstetrics, Emergency, Psychology, and most recently, Forensic Psychology at the Norfolk Regional Center. Her latest position at NRC has been the Facility Operations Officer, where she led the operations and coordination of hospital services, as well as determining areas for program improvement and ensuring the facility met and exceeded the Nebraska Hospital Licensure and Regulation Standards and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service (CMS) Standards. As the Facility Officer, she supervised all patient care departments throughout the hospital and managed the structure and development of the strategic process. She also provided patient/staff educational classes and presented on various health topics.

TyLynne has served on numerous committees and has made a significant impact through her involvement in the Statewide Trauma Informed Care Steering Committee (2015-2017) and as a member of the Nebraska Behavioral Health Emergency Response team (2008-2018). Her goal in health care is to enhance the lives of patients by designing better quality services and easier access to system and community resources. She believes in connecting people with opportunities and community resources that empower them to address their behavioral and physical health care needs through a continuum of care approach.
