As many in our communities are facing challenges due to the
devastating floods, Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska (LFS), with offices in Fremont and
across the state, is here for our employees, our clients and our community.
Many of those impacted by the floods do not speak English. LFS has interpreters
available to anyone who needs communication help. Please call 402-536-3519 for
interpretation assistance.
Shelter sites at First Lutheran Church, Trinity Lutheran Church, Salem Lutheran, Fremont
Nazarene and Fremont Middle School in Fremont are seeking blankets, towels, hygiene
products, shovels, laundry soap, bottled water and pre-packaged food to serve those in need.
Donations with be accepted at Lutheran Church of the Master – Omaha, NE at 2617 S 114th St.
and will be flown into Fremont soon. (Hours accepting donations: Sunday until 3 p.m., Monday – Friday until 8 p.m.)
