New American Arts Festival

The New Americans Art Festival (NAAF), a collaboration of Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska (LFS) and Benson First Friday (BFF), is a celebration of new American arts and culture, featuring art and performances from both new Americans and local Omaha artists.
In its sixth year, the festival will feature exciting food, workshops, music, art, handmade goods, and entertainment from around the world. The festival provides artists with an opportunity to share their craft with the community and offers patrons a view into the wealth of diverse cultures that call Omaha home.

We are looking for artists within the Refugee and Immigrant Communities of Omaha to share their art work at this summer’s New American Art Festival on August 2, 2019! All mediums of the visual and performing arts are welcome, as well as artisan vendors.If you or someone you know is interested in presenting work at this event, please submit applications by April 30, 2019. Selected artists will be notified by mid May 2019.
Selected artists will be invited to attend a free professional development workshop prior to the festival. They will also have access to workshops on the day of the event.
